Plan the HID Global Scope
Reader and credential selection must align with the client’s access control platform. We review the reader interface, mounting location, cable route and approved credential format before replacing or adding devices. Use our system design and planning process to define hardware, site conditions and commissioning responsibilities before deployment.
Door schedules and field wiring
Each opening is reviewed for the existing lock, reader location, door position monitoring, release devices and available power. The access control installation scope identifies what will be reused, replaced or added.
Door operation and closeout
Testing covers approved credential access, lock and release behavior, door status and the agreed access schedules. Hardware, cabling and configuration responsibilities are recorded in the end of service report.
